Since June 8, the Minnesota Twins have been playing not .500 baseball, not .600, not .700, but .800 (.810 to be exact). And yet they’re still only in a tie for second in the American League Central, and a half game back of the Yankees for the Wild Card.
That’s insane.

The comeback win against the Tigers yesterday afternoon was phenominal! Granted, part of it was luck, but luck goes both ways… and part of it was the Tigers getting rattled when things started unravelling.
Getting swept would have been depressing. I’d say winning one of three against the absurdly good Tigers is pretty respectable. 🙂
