I just saw a Philadelphia Cream Cheese commercial for this recipe. They forgot to mention that the key ingredient to this — key — is that the chili be Skyline. (And upon checking the website, there is a Skyline restaurant within an hour of me!) Now, if only the Ann Arbor Kroger would start carrying the cans… luckily, I still have some from the last time I went to Cincinnati. So I think I’m going to make some “Philly Cheesy Chili Dip” and make it right.

Oh, that and the nabisco crackers are a poor choice in my opinion. Fritos Scoops all the way….
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm….. Skyline chili…………………….
It’s worth noting that this entry is now the first hit on google for “Philly Cheesy Chili Dip” and at least 8 random people (according to my referrer logs) have found their way here through that search. If only one of them learns to use Skyline chili and/or Fritos Scoops in the recipe as a result, I’ll have done my job.
I don’t really have any clue what this board is or what its about but I may have some insight as to your hits and resultant google ranking. The commercial for this product is completely tripped out. I would really like to find someone who has a digital recording of this commercial. Thats what inspired me to click this link and I can only imagine any one else who has seen this and though it was as inspiring as I did has searched it out as well by the only way you can possibly describe it “cheesy chili dip”. Congratulations on your accomplishment. enjoy the cheesiness for me!
I always think comments are kind of fun to read, so here’s mine. I clicked here from google as well. I thought it would be a funny joke to actually show up at my book club next week with Philly Cheesy Chili dip to make fun of the commercial. I will definitely use Scoops, sounds like a great idea. I’ll have to go with a vegetarian chili though for my vegan friend.
